sep 22, 1944 - The Development of Serum Albumin
Description:
Serum albumin began to be replace dried plasma near the end of the war. Serum albumin is the most abundant plasma protein in human blood. It was preferred because serum albumin was a standard item for the US Navy. Because it was commonly used for the preparation of explosives, it was not necessary to delay it's development, unlike dried human plasma. [7]
