jan 1, 2007 - Martens et al. study on Behavior and Attitude

Description:

Ss were asked to kill bugs in a practice setting by dropping them into a coffee grinder (no bugs were actually harmed) and they found that the Ss who went to "kill" 5 of the bugs in the practice round killed significantly more bugs in the "actual" round.
This experiment/study was done when studying the acts of killers, with the title of the study being: "Killing begets Killing."
