After supper me and my family decorated our Christmas tree that we got this year with the lights and all our favorite ornaments. I looked it up just for fun and found out that the origin of the tradition to get a Christmas tree actually came from the Germans in the 16th century. The impact of globalization can be seen quite clearly even in this as this is now a tradition widely accepted and used in most of the Western world.
