When my dad drives me into school we take our little Chevrolet Cruze. Chevrolet is an American company based out of Detroit, Michigan. This involves actually two of the impacts of globalization: Economic- Canada doesn't really have any big car companies, so we rely on the states for our most used form of transportation.
and Environmental- car plants and factories are huge contributors to the amount of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere, and the car itself also produces these same gases every time it is turned on, thus adding our impact on the global pollution problem.
