Description:
Steen Willadsen separated one cell from an 8-cell lamb embryo chemically. Then he fused it to the egg cell. After a few days, he placed the lamb embryos into a surrogate mother sheep. Three live lambs were born.
Proved it was possible to clone a mammal by nuclear transfer and that the clone could fully develop.
