jan 1, 1975 - First Mammalian Embryo Created by Nuclear Transfer
Description:
J. Derek Bromhall was the first to transfer the nucleus from a rabbit embryo to a rabbit egg cell. Mammal eggs are smaller, which, made it harder to manipulate.
This showed that mammalian embryos could be created by this process too. Though, he considered it a success after he got an advanced embryo and never placed the egg into a mother's womb.
