Description:

Hans Spemann used the same technique with the baby hair to push the nucleus of a fertilized egg to a certain side of the cell. Only the side with the nucleus divided. He then removed his cell from the group.

This was the first instance of nuclear transfer. It showed that the nucleus directs the growth.
