Description:
Ss were read personality descriptions of "Emily" and summarize it to a "Helen". When the Ss thought that "Helen" liked "Emily", they described her more positively, and when they thought "Helen" didn't like "Emily" they described more negative things.
This study proved that people often adapt waht they say to please who they speak to.
