jul 15, 1940 - 1940 Japan continues to expand Japan conquers several other countries in Asia, in the midst of World War 2. Some includes Philippines, Dutch East Indies, Burma and Malaya. Men were captured prisoners of war, while women served as 'comfort' women. The Japanese captured as many as 200,000 women from all of their annexed countries.
