Wilson's plan for peace. Called for abolish secret treaties (Alliances), freedom of the seas (Unrestricted Submarine Warfare), reduction of national armaments, recognize rights of colonies within Empires (Imperialism), promise “self-determination” to oppressed minority groups within European Empires, and creation of the League of Nations. Was rejected by remaining Allies who wanted to punish the Germans.
