aug 22, 1910 - 1910 Japan annexes Korea First annexed territory. The Japanese officially starts to rule Korea on the 29th of August, 1910, a week after they invaded Korea. Koreans are forced to learn, act upon, follow Japanese traditions, and abandon their Korean heritage, traditional values, history and culture.
