RDC-1 was the first camera that Ricoh introduced in the market, at the same time the first camera that allowed people to both record videos and capture pictures. It captured video at 768 x 480 and had storage of 24MB. RDC-1 was a big innovation that was available to record videos and the sounds, also capturing videos, however, the cost was aurprisingly high-$1500,which meant that it did not allowed most people to buy the product. Also, with 24MB storage, it was only able to store four 5-second long videos.
