jul 4, 180 - end of pax romana

Description:

Pax romana- the pax romana was basically the golden age for the roman empire. It was a time of peace across all of the mediterranean that extended from the rule of Augustus all of the way to the ruling of Marcus Aurelius. In that period of time from 27 BCE to 180 CE, imperial policy allowed the provinces of the empire a degree of autonomy in exchange for Roman taxation and military control. And they were mostly concerned on crenterlizing the power of the roman empire instead of expanding it.
