The Gettysburg Address was a very famous speech given by the president Abraham Lincoln in the cemetery dedicated to the battle of Gettysburg. His speech was short, yet moving. He spoke about all the lives lost and he also related the Civil War with the American Revolution saying it was a “new birth of freedom”. He spoke and encouraged the continuation of unity, equality, and freedom for all.
