Description:

This battle happened in Tennessee when confederate soldiers surprise attacked union soldiers at Shiloh camp. The union soldiers with Ulysses S. Grant planned to march to the Mississippi River to take control of it and carry out the western part of the anaconda plan. The union won this battle and there were 23000 casualties.
