Description:

Fought between 1775 and 1783. It was when the thirteen colonies of Great Britain in North America threw off British rule to establish the sovereign United States of America. It began on April 19th when local militiamen quarreled with British soldiers at the battle of lexington and concord. The famous “shot heard around the world” took place then, signifying the start of the war. In 1776 the declaration of independence was established, declaring independence from Great Britain.
