dec 16, 1773 - Boston Tea Party

Description:

The Boston Tea party was an act of defiance against Great Britain and preformed by the colonists. The act was the dumping of all of the tea sent from Great Britain to the Americas into Boston Harbor. This was important because it was the colonists way of sending a message that they were nit happy with Britain and they are prepared to do something about it. The primary source is the letter from the Boston Post Boy stating that the colonists of Boston have dumped all of Britain's tea into the harbor.
