jan 12, 1635 - England's Great Migration

Description:

The term "Great Migration" refers to the English Puritan migration to Massachusetts and the West Indies. The migration caused a high development rate of literacy because there were educated people moving from England. The markets became dominated by craftsmen and artisans and the population became much more diverse. There was now an equal number of women to men.
