Description:

/Benjamin Franklin was an eighty-one-year-old statesman and a wild card./ He was a part of the committee of five that was chosen to draft the declaration of independence. He was the president of the Constitutional convention of 1776, and later the Minister to Frace from 1776-1785. He was also one of the negotiators of the treaty of peace with Great Britain and president of the executive council of Pennsylvania from 1785-1788. He was also a delegate to the Federal Convention in 1787 and signed the Constitution.
