Description:
Delegates from various slates met in Philadelphia. The Virginia and the New Jersey plans were brought to the table during these sessions where the Virginia plan aided the larger states and the New Jersey plan the smaller ones. There were debates and compromises were set in place to give power to the federal government and take power from it. The 3/5 compromise was first insinuated at the convention. A new constitution was voted on and was sent to each of the states to be signed.
