Description:

The declaration of independence would eventually lead to the start if the American Revolution. King George III rejected the colonist’s appeal for independence and readily went to war. To much surprise though, the colonists won the war. The Treaty of Paris was the peace treaty between America and the British. It gave the new country, The United States of America, land to the west which would later become the state Ohio.
