jan 14, 1770 - Boston Massacre
Description:
After the stamp act was passed, many people became much more hostile towards the British. The Boston Massacre is an example of this. It occurred because of heckling done by colonials on a squad of British soldiers. The colonists threw snowballs at the soldiers and eventually the troops shot on the crowd. They would cause the death of five colonists, yet the troops were still acquitted of their crimes.
