**The Revolution of 1800 was the transfer of power from the federalists to the democratic-republicans** with the election of Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson establishes his agrarian vision and the Judiciary Act. The Judiciary act created 16 new judiciary positions and James Madison appointed new judges to save and preserve Federalist power. Jefferson also conducts the Louisiana Purchase during his presidency. Jefferson also oversaw the expiration of the Alien and Sedition Acts, removal of the excise tax, reduction of debt, and balancing of the budget.
