oct 26, 1765 - Stamp Act

Description:

"The Stamp Act and the Intolerable Acts or Coercive Acts relate because they both get the colonists mad and riled up." The Stamp Act was anything that was printed had to be stamped by a stamp that was not even produced in the colonies. Not only did this make the middle-class colonists mad, but the upper class as well to. The reason that they were mad was because legal documents had to have a stamp on them as well. This was another version of "taxation without representation" that was getting the colonists so mad.
