jun 26, 1763 - Coercive Acts

Description:

"The Seven Years war did the colonists no favors as it led to the led to the Proclamation Line of 1763 and that was unpopular with the colonists as was the Coercive Acts or Intolerable Acts." The Intolerable acts were the British way of punishing the colonists for throwing tea in the Boston harbor which is known as the Boston Tea Party. The reason this happened was because of the taxation on the tea and the fact that they had nobody to show them representation to in the Parliament and colonists at that point were starting to get frustrated and angry.
