Description:

"While there were slaves being transported from West Africa and the middle passage, there were still slaves in the Carribean for sugar." Countries like England, France, and the Netherlands who colonized the Carribean. The reason for the colonization was for the primary crop of sugar. The people who colonized would ship enslaved Africans to the plantations so they could work on the plantations. The Carribean had so many slaves that they outnumbered the colonists. The reason that the colonists could do this was with the involvement of slave codes.
