Description:

While the indentured servitude was good for that time, more land was being planted and more space was being occupied. The new world then involved itself with the middle passage and the South Atlantic System. The middle passage was the involvement of trade between the New World and West Africa which involved the trade of enslaved Africans. There were terrible conditions and not that many of them would make the voyage under these inhumane conditions. In fact, about twenty percent would die on this journey, and there were little uprisings on the ships.
