Description:

"Spanish Labor Systems was the same as the Slave Trade because they involved the involvement of forces labor." The Spanish Labor System was encomienda which was the involvement of enslaving natives and forcing them into mines to gather silver and gold. The monarch would assign land to some conquistadors and also give them Indians. Since the Natives were new to the Spanish, they did not know how to adapt to their diseases and they would die. The Spanish then adopted to asiento and they would trade for West Africans to work on their farms.
