jan 1, 1904 - Plum Pudding Atomic Model
Description:
J.J Thomson proposed the plum pudding model of the atom, which had negatively charged electrons embedded within a positively-charged "soup". The plums were negatively charged electrons and the pudding was the positively-charged proton.
In this model, it was believed the atom was a sphere of positive charge with negatively charged electrons scattered around the atom like plums in a pudding.
