jan 1, 1975 - First Digital Camera
Description:
In 1975 Steve Sasson created the first digital camera using different kits and leftover parts from around the Kodak factory. The camera was about the size of a breadbox and it took 23 seconds to capture a single image. It took shots at 0.01 megapixel and only shot them in black and white. All photos were recorded on a cassette tape.
This first digital camera showed people that taking photographs could be a lot easier and faster. This allowed people who didn't have much if any experience in photography to take great photos with ease.
