Description:

John Lee, The Secretary for Security of Hong Kong, met with members of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce on the amendments. After the meeting, the chairman of the Chamber , Aron Harilela, said he did not want Hong Kong to become a safe haven for criminal, but hoped that the amendments could be considered in a holistic manner. He considered that there were still inadequate safeguards in the existing proposal and suggested that a proper mechanism should be put in place.
