6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Knowing that the original Nauvoo Temple was the fulfillment of Daniel 8:13, Who were the prophets involved with the temple? Joseph Smith and Brigham Young. What river might have Daniel seen? The Mississippi River. Who was on the water when the question was asked “How much longer until the end?”?

Could it have been Joseph who had been martyred 2 years before, standing on the Nauvoo side of the river, watching over the temple until it was decommissioned by the fire, with Brigham on the other side of the river as he left with the saints in 1846 just after the temple was dedicated, and the Savior standing on the water?
