jan 1, 1970 - PASCAL
Description:
A procedural programming language, is published. Designed by Niklaus Wirth, Pascal was intended to be a small efficient language which would encourage good programming practices via structured programming and data structuring. The earliest computers were programmed in machine code and assembly. This type of programming is tedious and error prone, as well as extremely difficult to understand and modify. Early High-Level Languages, such as AGOL 60 which Wirth had also helped to develop. helped to make the process of developing code far more efficient.
