After the death of President Hindenberg on August 2, 1934. Hitler took upon Germany, where he immediately began to build up his military forces, breaking the Treaty of Versailles. Although, countries such as Britain and France took as allies to defeat communism. In 1936, Germany just didn't have military forces, but two important alliances: France and Japan. Hitler wanted to gain the lost territory, reuniting Austria, and Germany. German troops entered Austria in March of 1938. This would lead to another cause of WWII, appeasement.
