mar 26, 2020 - LDS Temples Closed
Description:
Daniel 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice (Temple worship) shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
The abomination that maketh desolate would be that last 3 ½ years – or the Great Tribulations.
Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week(YEAR): and in the midst of the week (YEAR) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation (Temple worship) to cease,
Starting with the Salt Lake Temple and other Pioneer Temples in December 2019, the temples began to close. Soon because of COVID, a cascading closure of temples happened until March 25, 2020, when the final word came that ALL Temples would be closed completely for all ordinances--living and proxy.
Daniel 9:27 continues: ...and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Is this a sign that we are moving from the “Time of Trouble” to the “Day of Jehovah”?
Some say that March 26, 1820 was the actual date of the First Vision based on weather reports of that year. If so, then exactly 200 years after the First Vision the Temples close just as Daniel prophesied.
This date was also exactly 400 years from the Mayflower landing at Plymouth Rock.
