Description:
Alexander Graham-Bell later improved the design of Thomas Edison’s Phonograph by replacing the tin cylinder with a wax cylinder, this improved design was named the Graphaphone. It took five years of research under the directorship of Charles Sumner Tainter and Chichester Bel, at the Volta Laboratory to develop their machine so that it could be differentiated from Edison’s phonograph.
