Description:
On Jan 10th, Thomas Paine published his essay "Common sense", which polarized the American people, convincing them to support the revolution.
On the 4th of July, Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence.
On September 22nd, Nathan Hale, was executed as a spy. Just before his execution, he stated "I am so satisfied with the cause in which I have engaged, that my only regret is, that I have not more lives than one to offer in its service"
