Description:
In 1765 The Quartering, Stamp and Sugar Acts where put in place. The sugar (April 5th) and stamp (passed March 22nd) acts both enacted taxes on their namesakes. The Quartering act (March 24th) made it so that colonists had to house and feed British solders without compensation. Also throughout this year most Native tribes signed peace treaties with the British.
