Description:

(1773-1775): A peasants rebellion that took place in Russia after Catherine the Great came to power as Russia was at war with Turkey, it took place because they did not expect anything from Catherine the Great but they wanted change. Catherine the Great proved to be a good leader after putting down this rebellion. This effected Russia by letting Catherine the Great know that she had to be a good leader, or this would continue happening.
