(1740-1786): Frederick the Great was known for further expanding the territory of Prussia and being a military genius despite not wanting anything to do with war as a child, he and Maria Theresa were great enemies and he conquered some of her land but she ended up taking some of it back. Ultimately, the effect of his reign was making Prussia a great military power, but they did not have rich land to provide great financial and trading power.
