(1685-1815): The Enlightenment was a time period in which new ideas were being taken seriously, also known as the age of Reason, philosophy, science, and communications were radically reoriented during this time. John Locke, and Thomas Hobbes were some of the most influential philosophes at this time. It started in England, France, and Germany, and spread all throughout Europe, and made way to the Romanticism time period of the 19th century, the Enlightenment ideas are still used in many things today, and impacted the world forever.
