(1685): The Edict of Fountainbleau was issued by Louis XIV as a revoke of the Edict of Nantes that gave religious tolerance to Huguenots in France, France's religion would now be Catholic, he did this because he was a very Catholic person. This effected France by making them Catholic for years to come, but also may have been a cause of the French Revolution.
