(1516-1558): Ruler of the Spanish Empire, Charles V had the most power in Europe and was a Habsburg, he was Roman Catholic and was a big influence on all of Europe until his death. Charles V ruled because he was the heir to the throne and the effect was he continued the Habsburg dynasty and expanded it.
