mar 5, 1770 - The Boston Massacre
Description:
A group of nine British redcoats fired into a crowd and killed five townspeople. A trial exonerated the soldiers, but Boston’s Radical Whigs labeled it a massacre and used that to rally people against imperial power. This angered a lot of colonists. The though of British soldiers massacring several people made the colonies head closer to war.
