Description:
Aftter the 1300's, Mongol power started to become weaker. Russian princes took advantage of the circumstances and advocated for territorial expansions. The town of Moscow was perfectly places in the center of surrounding future Russian land along side of the Volga River giving Russians benefit. Once the Russians became large enough, they were able to declare independance from the Mongols.
