jan 1, 1863 - L. Pasteur Disproves Spontanious Generation
Description:
In an experiment, the french scientist disproved the widely accepted theory of spontaneous generation. He had two beef broth samples placed in bottles. After sterilizing both samples by boiling them, he exposed one to air. Only the broth exposed to the air became rotten. This showed that life did not randomly and magically as was though by scientists at the time.
