jan 1, 1920 - WW1 Great Migration
Description:
Near the end of WW1 up until the 60's, there were millions of black people who would move northbound to avoid segregation laws that were formed for southern states, along with Jim Crow culture as a whole and the hearth for many KKK groups. This massive migration would be the primary factor in birthing urban African American culture in places like Harlem.
