Mo Smith (maiden name Mcbride) died of liver cancer at the age of 100, on her 100th birthday. She suffered for 27 years with this cancer, but soon she could not fight it longer. She became the first women's hockey player to play in the NHL, making history. Graduating from KUA,Mo left the world in awe of the school, for raising such a successful young woman.
