jun 3, 1992 - Mabo Land Rights
Description:
On the 3rd of June, 1992, the High Court of Australia decided that Australia shouldn't be called 'terra nullius' because it was owed by the Indigenous Australians. Terra Nullius, in Latin, means nobody's land. This is flawed because is was someone's land. It was the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
