Description:

Lazzaro did a similar experiment to Redi in 1767 to test and disprove the spontaneous generation theory. He boiled broth in 2 separate containers and observed that the one that was corked shut didn't grow any bacteria and stayed clear, the bottle that remained open began to grow bacteria and other microorganisms on the inside. His research methods were also through experimentation. Lazzaro was also an Italian priest who contributed to research on echolocation.
